About Me

I am a data & evaluation strategist who helps organizations advance their mission through the use of evidence. Specifically, I design data systems and learning strategies that yield insights that advance organizational priorities such as impact measurement, program development, accountability, and innovation.

My approach is shaped by training and experience across multiple settings. I earned a PhD in Psychology, with a minor in Program Evaluation, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I also completed advanced training through a predoctoral fellowship in consultation at Yale University and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Duke Global Health Institute. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in rigorous methods, systems thinking, and problem-solving.

I spent a decade as a professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where I taught, mentored students, and partnered with nonprofits and government agencies on research, evaluation, and strategy. That work strengthened my ability to ask the right questions, translate complex ideas into practical tools, and connect analysis with decision-making.

In 2024, I transitioned to full-time consulting so I could work more directly with organizations navigating growth, complexity, and change. Through Case Evaluation & Research, LLC, I now help clients strengthen learning and decision-making through the strategic use of evaluation and research data.

Often, the clients I support are not simply looking for a product. They are looking for a data-informed partner who can plug into their organization, strengthen capacity, and help move important objectives forward. If your organization is looking for a capable professional to do this, I would love the opportunity to explore what we might build together.
